DishDuJour

This year for the man friends birthday I wanted to get and to do something a bit different. Through all the searching I came across a fabulous cooking class through a company called Dish Du Jour. Set out the back of a carpenters studio, this old warehouse has been reinvented into an old rustic kitchen full of beautiful pieces of wooden furniture, cabinets and tables full of mismatch vintage crockery and cutlery and a warm burning fire. The kitchen was originally installed for the workers of the carpenters of the studio. Later found by the chef, Sebastian, he has turned this space into a wonderful area of learning.
Being a lover of food, and also loving to cook, I thoroughly enjoyed the advice and information offered by Sebastian.
We signed up to do the 'Special Occasion Menu' which consisted of : Double baked soufflé, Beef and finally a beautiful chocolate tart.
The day was absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend the whole experience. You not only learn a few tricks and some new recipes but you also get to drink, eat a three course meal and meet new people.
