Tea darling!?!

Simply put, LOVE.
Looking out over the Lake Gardens.

I love this photo. The silhouette and that amazing blue sky.

The amazing interior.
The colours of the roses and furniture are a perfect match.
On the advice of some very good friends the trek was made to Hotel Carcosa. Perched on a hilltop is Carcosa Seri Negara, a pair of 19th century British colonial mansions. It was the residence of the British Governor and British High Commissioners. Today, it has been converted into an exclusive hotel which also does an amazing traditional high tea.

I have one word. Lush. If you ever get the opportunity you must go. I still can't get those beautiful tea sets out of my mind.

Oh so tall!

The beautiful and amazing Petronas Towers in the city.
Cocktails at the amazing Traders Hotel Pool Bar.
After sadly saying goodbye to beautiful England I began my venture home but not without stopping and getting off at our transfer point Kuala Lumpur. After the so, so temperatures and weather in England we got off the plane to be smacked in the face by the 30 degree heat.... and oh the humidity!

But along with the humidity came the amazing food, the mix of cultures, the wonderful experiences and of course, the markets!

It was a beautiful and amazing city of which I would be only too happy to return to.

Family time and beautiful Cambridge.

The celebratory bottle bought for a special birthday.

Some (may i say, VERY cute!) local wildlife we came across in Cambridge. Mum and her babies.
In the beautiful grounds of Cambridge University.
Oh so many bicycles!
The gothic surrounds of Kings College
Interior of St Paul's Cathedral.
I just loved the repetitive chimneys in this lane-way... and the symbol of Cambridge: someone riding their bicycle!
People punting... even in the rain!

In our wheels for the week... the convertible MGF. Love.

In the cruise liner to Muddleford for a late lunch.
On the pier with the fisherman's gear and cray pots.
At the Monday morning markets in Christchurch. The most AMAZE cupcakes.

Rather than bore you with details I thought I would show you through pictures.

Bells and Whistles

The beautiful 1950's MG in the stone pebble drive way. Classic.

The bride and welcoming band.
Its been a couple of weeks since my last blog and whilst I am still new to blogging scene and haven't been blogging for all that long, I do feel as though I have neglected my duties of reporting in and posting all my little tid bits. Apologies.

As mentioned, the last two weeks I have been overseas. London, Kuala Lumpur and the beautiful island of Langkawi. The trip was originally booked for a wedding I was attending and slowly got pushed out to include Asia as that was my change over point.

The wedding was gorgeous. A traditional english wedding in the country side of Reading. Held at the bride's parent's beautiful property, it had all the bells, whistles and delights of a 12 piece brass band on arrival, sipping champagne next to the pond and a 1400's thatched roof barn, to then carry on in a beautifully decorated marquee. Congratulations to Peter  and Wendy for a stunning show.

More post will come this week of continued adventures (and of course outfits!).
