With winter fast approaching I am loving all the pops of colour that are becoming available and all the shapes and forms they are coming in, especially bags!

I was inspired when looking at all the different fabric prints on the Max Frost & Co website and am going to try and make it my mission this winter to include (even if only a little) to my dark layered outfits which seem to be so same same each year.

Bring on the colour!

Unless you've been living under a rock this summer (and to be honest I wouldn't blame seeing as we haven't had one!!) Then you will know that Ombre hair has been very 'in' style.

My hair has got quite long now and am getting bored of it. So am thinking this could be a good solution to jazzing it up, feeling like I have a new hair style, but not actually having to cut it off.

This week is a week of indulgence. Family over from Perth = Eating out and drinking good alcohol. On Thursday we dined at Gingerboy, Crossley St in the city. An amazing mix of asian hawker style food we ate everything from salt and pepper cuttlefish to silky tofu and rendang pork belly curry. One word... YUM!

If you ever get the opportunity, do your taste buds a favour and head on down. Definitely a must go to when choosing somewhere to eat out in Melbourne.

Monday night was the launch of LMFF - L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival and the show Fashion Full Stop at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. 

Part fashion show, part 'rock concert', Fashion Full Stop exhibited fashion influences decade by decade that have shaped what we wear today.

There was a strong influence of sixties shapes, denim, flowing etherial gowns and all things outrageous.

I have posted photos of the pre-show sights and sounds and I was clearly, ob-sessed!, with all the very cool accessories on show.

What a lucky girl I am. After featuring the label Mister Zimi on my blog here, the beautiful and talented creator of the label, Zoe, sent me this pair of gorgeous Mister Zimi bikinis.

I absolutely adore the colours and print. I am headed off back home to sunny Perth this weekend (for a wedding) and can't wait to take them out for a spin down at the beach.
