While on our adventure one of the duo (Elaine) celebrated her birthday. We had a beautiful celebration at Potato Head Beach Club in Seminyak with all the essentials: Peach Ballinis, yummy food and birthday cake!

And so the time has come to involve you all on our current little side project. KINI Swimwear.

- THE CONCEPT - Have you ever gone bather shopping and just wished that you could have bought a swimsuit that came in that style, but in that fabric and, that you could get rid of that trim and wished you could add that feature!? KINI Swimwear is an online swimwear store that gives women the opportunity to design and create they're own custom made bathers. You will be guided through a process where you can pick your shape, print and features that allow you to make your perfect and unique swimsuit!

This year my girlfriend and I have been busy trying to get the final stages completed for our little project that has brewing for last couple of years. The process has been like giving birth to a baby and we are in the final trimester before we have to give birth and present this new little being to the world.

I feel like a new mum. Scared I'm not going to know how to look after it, asking myself will I be able to give it the life it deserves? But, as all parents (or small business owners as the case may be!) find out, your baby loves you unconditionally and you get out of it what you put in. We have put in a lot of love, a lot of care, a lot of time and hopefully when we launch in October, this bun that has been in the oven, will be everything we hoped for and more.

The pictures above were from our first day on the ground in Bali. Meeting with our manufacturer, deciding on fabrics and starting those final stages.

I look forward to you all following our journey and when KINI is live, I hope you love it as much as we do.

It's officially time for a new iPhone case. 

My current, very plain but very trusty case has definitely seen better days. It has saved my poor iPhone from many a drop, and often taken the brunt of the fall resulting in chips, cracks and bits now missing. Not ideal.

I am hearting the pleated skirt trend popping up everywhere at the moment.
